Priority2Work Mission Statement

Priority2Work (P2W) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), faith-centered organization that is guided by H.O.P.E. (Helping Others Pursue Employment).  Our mission is to assist anyone in career transition due to job force reduction, industry downturns, a changing skills environment, or other conditions they are facing.    

Our volunteer staff assist job-seekers who are in career transition to further develop the skills necessary to confidently identify and obtain employment opportunities consistent with their experience, capabilities, and career expectations.

To accomplish our Mission we will:

    1. Provide career, spiritual, and social opportunities to enhance the individual journey of each participant.
    2. Provide a team of volunteer professionals, experienced in Human Resources, recruiting, and job skills training with business acumen committed to assisting all participants.
    3. Provide career transition services to participants.
    4. Provide individual and team-based skills training via scheduled workshops, course curriculum, and individual coaching.
    5. Provide networking contacts to help participants identify target companies and requirements for employment opportunities.

P2W recognizes that job search is a stressful time and often one with limited financial resources.  As a result, there are no fees for our services and all we ask is that participants consider a donation (e.g., $25) whenever they can afford it and consider paying it forward by helping others once they land a job.

As our name implies, work is priority two.  Priority One will always be one’s relationship with God and family.  If needed, we can direct you to resources to support Priority One.
