Priority2Work is a fabulous group of volunteer professionals dedicated to helping/coaching people like me who had to face unemployment and its challenges on many fronts. They provide terrific trainings, coaching, resource materials and group experience chats (letting you know you are not alone). P2W is a light of uplifting support from people who’ve been there and made it through. I’ve greatly valued that support in getting me through also, more than once in my career. They really helped, and I’m grateful!

P2W was a community I could easily plug into when I needed a jolt of encouragement, wise counsel, practical wisdom, or hope to press on and believe that good things were in store for me. The caliber of P2W’s leaders was second to none, both in terms of their varied experience and expansive network. If you’re in the middle of a difficult, anxiety-producing job transition, go to this group, you won’t regret it!

I have worked with the Priority2Work group, and a predecessor group- Discover HOPE Here over the last 10+ years. I am impressed with the professionalism and energy the volunteers in this group possess. As a Vice President and Career Counselor with the world’s leading Outplacement organization, I regularly advise my outplacement clients in the greater Pittsburgh area to join Priority2Work to assist in their networking and help build their job search skills.

After more than six months of limited success in my job search, I was referred to Priority Two while networking. The Skills Workshop showed me best practices for presenting my career accomplishments and a formula for networking that I desperately needed to revitalize my search and confidence. The result – more success in getting interviews and ultimately, a job offer that is a great fit for me.

Priority Two is a program where you get out of it what you put into it, and then some. I made great friends, who provided critical help in a time of deep need.

Although I limped into it, networking became the cornerstone of my job search campaign. Networking coupled with the tools and skills I learned in the Career Marketing Workshop, are the fundamentals that ensured I was well prepared for the interview that eventually landed me in a great-fitting position, which I didn’t even have on my radar prior to starting Priority Two.
